The Pause Before the Choice

In the stillness of the night, I rise,

A whisper in the void, unseen by eyes.

No shadow follows where I tread,

Yet in every heart, I find my bed.

A thought, a pang, a fleeting trace,

I am the mirror, the hidden face.

I dwell in silence, deep and wide,

The voice within you cannot hide.

I am the light that never burns,

The compass in the mind that turns.

I am the pause before the choice,

The echo of your inner voice.

In truth, I am the boundless sea,

The question that will set you free.

Seek not my name in worldly air,

ThFor I am always, everywhere.
